SGA Technical plating services was founded in 1971 at the original site in Saffron Walden. Over the course of the last 50+ years, SGA has been established as an industry expert in technical plating solutions while maintaining strict regulatory compliance to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.
Working with our customers, we have created a service that not only offers unmatched quality to industry standards, but our wide range of specialized plating finishes can also be tailored to meet various needs. We have automated production lines to meet your high-volume requirements, and barrel plating services for the more complicated design.
In July 2024, we acquired a new facility in Poole, Dorset where we could expand our offerings and rebranded as SGA Poole Limited.

SGA Technologies has been supplying high quality, high reliability hermetic components and packages since 1969. SGA devices are used globally in applications where performance, quality and reliability are critical. Equipment as diverse as satellite communications, military and commercial aircraft, oil drilling platforms, medical systems, utilities and scientific equipment are all using SGA products.
